When record-breaking heat kept Canadians inside on National Ice Cream Day, we knew our usual sampling program wouldn’t fly. So we pivoted by hacking the #1 app Canadians turn to during extreme weather: Uber Eats. For one weekend, we turned our iconic ice cream truck into a legit courier on the app, delivering people’s regular meals and surprising them with a free pint on top, bringing the celebration straight to their door.
